Oppressed by gender
And then by marriage,
Men try to retain control
But marriage doesn’t create ownership,
Women are still entitled to be free,
And they are at their best
When enabled to fulfill their needs,
For women have the right to equality
And love harder and best when they see,
That they are loved without being caged
Like a rare and beautiful bird,
For denied the right to fly
They eill become less than when free.
