Capitalism is failing again
In the UK and United States,
Where Trump will starve you
If the Dems don’t allow them to,
Raise Medicare beyond what you can afford
To enrich big pharma it’s no choice at all,
And here in the UK they’re taking PIP away
From the poorest and most vulnerable,
It’s because no matter how hard we all work
We are never going to reap the rewards,
Because the corporations take it all,
And they suppress the wages and raise our taxes
While the rich and the wealthy sip champagne,
And it all works their same way in the UK and USA,
Because it’s all rooted in the trickle down theory
But the rich have learnt how to stop the flow,
And under capitalism the one percents wealth grows,
And the rest of us are left to go hungry and cold.
