When the pain is too much

Look for me and I’ll touch,

Your soul with my healing hands

When you’re lonely and feeling cold,

I will be here to comfort you,

For I know how much we can struggle

In this world that is so harsh,

And just how much it can seem unfair

But be assured that within those hours,

I will share all my kindness

In the hope that it will nourish you,

Because I know what it is like

And I expect nothing in return,

I just know how it feels to yearn,

A shoulder to cry on, or someone to hug

Just to get us through until dawn,

So remember if you are in need

I am always here and I am always free,

To share the burden of life with you.
