I find comfort in frost

White frost covering all around

On an ice cold day, I see my breath,

Cars covered white in a sheet

The ground feels slippery under my feet,

Life seems suspended as few venture out

Cobwebs are easy to view on trees in full sight,

Puddles frozen and have a reflective sheen,

There’s something comforting about this scene

And it takes me back to how things used to be,

For where I live now this is not often seen.
