Do we live in some duality

It seems hard to know,

Am I supposed to just sit and watch

Or am I supposed to get involved,

In all the chaos around the world

Or should I just focus on the stuff at home,

With everything that’s going on

How are we ever meant to know,

Because the external noise is threatening

So how can I just remain silent,

Against all of the hate and overwhelming violence,

Am I supposed to believe that it won’t come to my door

What are we supposed to do and what are we living for,

If we don’t stand against what’s wrong

And allow it to continually perpetuate,

Then one day we’ll regret this because we allowed this to be our fate.
