Souless, rootless that is we
Obsessed by material greed,
No thought for our ecology
We sell ourselves to technology,
From root to branch like a dead tree
We’ve given up the right to be free,
They know all about you and me
We sold our souls to cookies,
Now they spy and listen as we speak
Because we surrendered our privacy,
And we act surprised when we see
A reduction of our freedom and liberties,
All to keep happy the elitist machine
It’s a dystopian nightmare not a dream,
And unless we change both you and me
We will suffer under an age of this technology.
