And given up many liberties,

Just to get access to technology

We’re all just algorithms within the machine,

There is barely nothing that it doesn’t know about you and me,

And in this way we’re more easily scammed

And directly sold more crap that we don’t really need,

We stay more and order online as it saves on going out

And it’s cheaper to buy online through some helpful apps,

And this suits many businesses and banks to close their stores

Cutting away at the overheads so they can profit more,

Working online means you need less staff

Which is causing loss of vital jobs,

And when the machine technology has us all logged,

Much more will be done by AI and done automatically,

Until in the end they will not have a need for you or me.
