There’s decay and rot seeping in,
A dank, damp, rancid conditioning,
At the heart of mankind and nature
Like a disease and spread through the vapour,
Of the culling of trees and the pollution of the earth
A decay and rot that declines the worth,
And leaves both mankind and nature hurt
And it stems from the multinational corporate machines,
That seems to eviscerate everything
And leaves behind decay and rotting nature and human beings,
Unable to stop the disease of the exploitation that we see
And there’ll be no time left to grieve,
Just the dank, damp, rancid aftermath
Of the corporations decaying, rotting legacy,
And when we realise that there’s nothing left and no air to breathe,
That the concept that we can go and inhabit somewhere else
It was all just a utopian dream,
And well all just have to live life suffering,
For there’ll be no sanctuary you see
Not for the people in poverty or even the corporate elites,
There’ll be just a view of their destruction
That will leave nothing more than decay and rot,
As a testament to how humans behaved
And sadly then no one will be saved.
