We are all cannibals
For we constantly consume,
Ourselves without realising it
And ignorantly assume
That we will be saved,
From our self annihilation
By raping all resources,
Out of greed and not for need
Taking way too much,
While giving nothing back,
How did we become so careless
It’s ignorant and selfish,
Is there any reason to hope
That we can change our ways.
