Sustainable

There is an abundance of sustainable resources,

We really have no need for nuclear energy,

But that is where the money is just like oil,

So all attempts to turn the world green are always foiled,

By greedy multicorporations and the greedy 1%

All backed up by world governments,

Who all have their fingers well and truly in the pie

And who don’t care if acid rain falls from the sky.

They don’t care if our seas and our land becomes Polluted

That kind of thinking tthy say is convoluted,

Just focus on the power and focus on the wealth,

And always keep your eyes closed to the environmental health,

Of this earth and all here that exist

But they got no compassion because tthe never give a shit.

  1. Actually, when talking energy, nuclear energy is considered clean energy, due to low emissions. Funny fact.

    1. All the stuff flowing out of Fukashima into the Pacific don’t appear to clean and the ballooning cost of trying to dispose of the rods which could take out half of Japan does not look to clean either. That’s without the leak in Scandinavia recently. Don’t start me on Chenobyl lol. Imagine if we had a leak of solar energy. Worst case scenario is a sunny day lol

      1. Excellent poem and point, the problem with atomic energy is that one really bad disaster can ruin a country and poison the world, and as human error and unpredictable natural disasters are guaranteed to happen, using such energy is like the Ancient Eastern saying: The mantis stalks the cicada unaware of the oriole behind (i.e. forfeiting future peace and happiness by being greedy for easy gain). As for coal and oil, the dirtiness and pollution goes without saying.
