Like mountain, rock and stone
We stand firm in the face of adversity,
Chisled by the wind and rain
But standing firm, foundations rooted,
Deep in the earth, cold hard and stoic.
Yet conversely offering warmth like stone,
And sustenance as well,
Through streams running over and round the stone,
Supplying life giving minerals and nutrients
Which can sustain all life.
Mountain, rock and stone, gives shelter from the storms
and helps protect all life from the harsh elements of life.
See mountain, rock and stone are all elements of nature,
Balanced in a perfect way,
Like those who understand nature know.
For if there is no balance, then things tumble and collapse
just like mountains, rock and stone
Shattered on the ground.
So living life in balance makes you impervious and strong,
To all that assails us in life and helps us to live long.
So live life in balance means to live in love and peace,
For understanding balance is to understand life’s key.
