This time of year brings joy or stress
And if you are fortunate to be blessed
With comfort and a happy life,
Please spare a thought for those less fortunate.
I wish each person love and light
No matter their religion
Or whether black and white
And however life may avail you
I wish you good luck and prosperity too,
For the new year ahead
And for all your days
And set a fire of peace ablaze,
Right up to the end of days
Withstanding storms come what may.
