A cold has me in it’s grasp,
My nose and eyes red
And both streaming,
Tissues piling high,
Chesty cough rattling my chest,
Hurting my throat,
I need some rest,
Some sleep,
If I am able to breathe,
If I can stop just one sneeze,
Long enough to close my eyes
And wish you all a very good night.
