There is an agenda
That is to divide,
To use the left
To use right,
To use black
Against the white
And which religious belief is right.
In the face of this assault
We need to turn away from all.
Xenophobic, racist, gender hate
And things that divide us as a humanity in every way,
For division is a tool to rule
Where those in control treat people as fools,
And we comply and acquiesce
Act more and think less,
Allow ourselves to be puppets to be played,
Why we are simply establishment slaves.
Gorgeous poem.
Incisive.
And made me think of a quote by Alan Watts I carry around my nogging archives. “A scan process that scans the world bit by bit soon persuades its user that the world is a great collection of BITS and these he calls separate THINGS or EVENTS. The problem would never have arisen if we had been aware that it was just our way of looking at the world which had chopped it up into separate bits – things, events, causes and effects. We do not see that the world is all of a piece.”
If we return to the natural laws, with integrity of self, guided by our innermost core, that eventually spills out into integratity of the whole.
