Me, myself, I

Anarcho, hippy, punk, spiritualist,

I am all and yet none of this,

For I reject those boxes and labels.

I am myself,

I am unique,

Individual

Who never seeks,

To mimic someone else’s life

But instead to sculpture mine,

In a way I feel authentic and true,

Built on love, compassion and truth,

Questioning everything in life,

Making my own statement

Trying to live it right.

    1. Well i just started this journey of writing in April after feeling for many years that i should give it a go. So for you to offer me such kindness and kind words is extremely humbling. I write because I need to because it has been bottling up inside me and needs to come out. Part of me wishes more would come from it but the appreciation I get from others here is more than I could have expected. I always felt if only one person gets what I writie then I will be happy.

  3. Digging this. Just remember: good artists copy, great artists steal. If you can swallow your pride momentarily and glean from others a bit of their wisdom, you’ll find that over time their thoughts can work with your own original thoughts to create a thought network a thousand times as vast as the library of stolen thoughts you’ve accrued. Only steal it if it’s worth something!

    1. Influenced by many others I am, but their words are their own from their own stories. Wisdom is gained from experience of self and others than can and should be shared.
