I have lost much in life
But never as that caused me to die inside
And set a fire of anger alight
Deep within my being.
The loss of my daughter Georgia Ruby,
The most beautiful soul
I have ever seen,
Lost in labour moments from birth
Just one breathe was all she needed,
I’d have given her all my breathes,
I’d have given her my life,
Just to see her breathing fine
Instead I held her still and silent,
Perfection in form in every way.
There is not a moment,
Is not a day, that I don’t still feel that pain,
That grief, that loss, that terrible pain,
I often find my self transported back to that saddest day,
And I weep, I cry like a baby
And I mourn for her my precious one
My daughter forever in my heart who has my love
Now my heart is broken and my life undone.
