Just an observation

Show me someone who does not believe in climate change and I will show you someone with a bad come over, orange fake tan and limited intelligence.

Show me someone who knows that climate change is real and poses a real threat to humanity and I will show you an awakened being.

  1. Problem there.
One of the largest causes of death to people is people.
    It is not a mistake.
They meant to kill the people they killed.
Some of it was righteous; much of it was not.
The basic problem with free will is that people use it to do evil.
Alcohol kills 90,000 a year, one way or another. It is legal, easy to make, and keeps well.
Influenza kills but ppl think that they’ll let other ppl get immunized instead; its that free will thingy all over again.
There are whole countries that want me, or people like me, dead. I plan to keep their hopes of change diminished as long as I need to in order to find some other way to die.
Some people, if there is any justice in the world, deserve to die. The Charleston murderer comes to mind.
I have found life amazingly complicated for any single declarative sentence about human life.

    1. Could not agree more. People are the problem. Those who hold power over government religion and the media filling others poison that twists their views and inspire violence through devotion, patriotism and fanaticism. Same people that develop chemically addictive substances to number people against thinking and acting. Like alcohol, tobacco and drugs. Flu is a disease of nature that is incurable but preventable. Life is not actually that complicated it’s just that people make it that way. Other species know nature and how it works and fulfills the role expected by it. For a lion life is quite simple. Kill to eat and to feed the pride then sleep. I has no desire to kill for sport or vanity. People kill not out of free will but because of subliminal and subconscious messages or outright brainwashing from others.

      1. You think man to be setermined, programmed to kill? I think to give anyone an out (“The debil made me do it” “I listened to the voices” “I watched Yosemite Sam on television”) is not just wrong but a huge mistake. Leaders, for the most part, appear to lead from behind, announcing the inevitable as it is happening. There are exceptions of course, our outgoing president for one, making law with no general support. However, leaderly that may sound, I doubt if any of it will be visible in two years. Brainwashing, absent any data that it is actually possible, would be the ideal to which ideologies like socialism would be striving, yet the more complete their control the less successful they are.
