Gentle Giants of the plains

Great beasts of ancient descent

who wander plains in peaceful pursuit,

hunted down by greedy men

who deal in greed through the trade of ivory.

Motivated by money they send out their poachers

hunt the peaceful elephant ever closer to extinction.

And where poaching does not occur

the exploitation carries on in using them in circus’s,

or in tourism and used for for work

where they are abused and worked half to death.

These mighty peaceful beasts should be free to roam the plains

as they have done for centuries before the exploitation came.

The gentle amazing giants should be around for all to see

not just in this moment but for many future centuries.

Man has no right to hunt them and drive them into extinction,

building in the habitats with little or no restrictions

once again I send a message out for all hear quite clearly

Man has no right to hunt them and drive them into extinction.
