I went to a place of fantasy and dreams
Where nothing was exactly what it seemed to be,
Fantastic Creatures and aliens,
Who shared their love
And compassion.
A place of many moons
And planets with rings,
And flying above me
Were angels with wings.
There were snow covered mountains
Purple and lilac hills
And other things that amaze me still.
Rivers and lakes flowing in rainbow light,
A place of beauty and graceful delight.
I found this place when I found a door within my mind
And I am sure there are more,
Doorways to realms and dimensions unknown
The seeds for adventures have now been sown.
