Hoodies and masks

Hood up, mask on, identity hidden from the CCTVs, and the glances of the police. Undercover, undergrads, dressed to disappear in the shadows, dresses in black. Looking to make a voice heard, looking to make the cause noticed, railing against big corporations and government against policies of harmful intent. The policies and their laws are not designed for the good of the people, they are designed to make business and themselves wealthier at the expense of the people who feel oppressed and downtrodden or at best feel forgotten. The fact we have to dress like this, hide our identity because of risk of being arrested on a trumped up charge, says society is failing at large. For our freedom to march and to protest has been taken away from us which is the best hope for any democratic society a place to be proud of the land of the free.

  1. It is sad though, so sad that they have to hide their identities, because just when you hide something, you allow imposters to penetrate. And this imposters may cause more damage to your cause, and make more trouble, and blame the mask people, because they too had the mask on, and no one knew the real trouble maker.

    1. That is a sad side effect. Mindless morons or infiltrators trying to hijack the cause.
