There are places dark within people souls
where often times
they will not themselves go
but rather leave it be at rest
yet it may still fester yet.
Best it is addressed forthwith
so that at times of rest
we can know true bliss,
by shining a light in this darkened place
and ruminating over how we failed
to deal with this earlier,
nipped it in the bud.
We now we realize the importance
of dealing with this devilish nuisance
and cast out the dark from the soul,
replacing it with a luminescent light
that will shine on until we are old
and it will still burn there long after we are gone
into the spiritual spectrum,
and attract those previously lost to us
who we will meet again now our bodies have become dust.
