Hope is the thing we need defined,

As a human trait of the highest kind

That helps to transcend our minds,

Hope the very food of life,

Shining brightly 

Through the darkest night,

Hope the very thing we need most

We need to to always sustain hope,

Because hope is the only thing that can save us,

Hope is the the thing we must let change us.

Hope is everything we know to be true,

Hope is the very things we must never lose.

Hope must reside in everybody’s hearts,

Hope is the thing that must kick-start

Our humanity once and for all,

Hope is love that keeps us standing tall.
