Subtle echoes
Resonating quietly
Through my head
I ask so many questions
Taking ever deeper breaths
Hoping for the answers
That I yearn to understand
Like why is it such a tough ask
For all people to love their fellow man
And why is it we feel the need
To also kill other species
And why is it we feel so drawn
To destroying our home.
