We grasp for materialistic things like it will bring us happiness but all we ever find in this, is shallow unfulfilled emptiness. There is no joy to be found in aggrandizing your life, in an attempt to feel achievement because it’s only ever a temporary fix, before it becomes old and meaningless. There is more joy and fulfillment in helping those who really need it and the satisfaction that it gives lasts longer and the feeling of goodness grows stronger, there is so much more self achievement and so much more unconditional love, to be aiding other people and also other species for that is what we are here for, because this is what life is about. so do not worry about the high life, focus on the good life, be the change in this world and help to cure and help to heal the damage that’s been done.
