Another working day
Another day of grind
Up for work so early
Up for work at five
Another day of mundane type
Of Eckington out a life
To pay the bills
Put food on the table
One long struggle to survive..
Home again by six o’clock
Another day is done
Barely able because of tiredness
To join in the family fun.
Dinner eaten
Falling asleep
Time to go to bed.
Wake up in the morning
And then do it all again.
This is life.
