We live in cruel times

Where humanity is cruel to each other,

Where we are cruel to other species,

Cruel to our own environment,

Blind to the hate,

Blind to the destruction,

Blinded by greed,

Blinded because of our insatiable desires,

Constantly wanting more,

Constantly craving,

We lose sight of what is good,

We lose sight of what is right,

We have lost our compassion,

We have lost our tolerance,

We have lost our love

But we can reclaim it,

For we are capable of change,

We are capable of so much more,

We have the potential

To turn all this around,

We have the potential for discovering light,

We can rediscover the love.

We as one race have to come together,

Rise up against the greedy men,

Rise up against the destructive men,

Rise up against those who will have us kill,

Rise up against st those wh will have us die,

We choose love,

We choose life,

We choose to claim back our world,

For humanity can be so much more,

We can nurture this world,

We can care for all life regardless of species,

We can share this world, this paradise, this home,

We can start to define a brighter future

By letting go of the past 

And not repeating the same mistakes,

We need to reclaim the power for the people,

We need to reclaim the world for all,

We need to be the change, be the love,

We need to be the new way, in a new age.
