It’s becoming a nanny state
where the life of you and your family,
will be decided by judges and bureaucrats
as they take your rights away.
Doctors have the right to diagnose
but should they the right
to take control,
where parents and family
should have the right to decide,
they should just console,
they say that kin are too emotionally involved
but why is that not OK,
why is it better to let someone,
who has no connection and no feeling,
sit as judge and jury,
this lunacy needs repealing,
we need no nanny state,
it’s intrusive and it’s wrong,
we need no nanny state,
and leave those families to make their decisions alone.
