When love is gone..

I guess we’ve all been broken

In some kind of way,

We have all been hurt

We have all felt pain,

I guess it’s all part of the learning,

Part experiencing all about life,

How could we know the pain would be as sharp,

As being cut by a knife,

Was it meant to mean,

Was it deliberately brutal,

Or was it just they got lost in themselves

And just stop thinking

And now it’s all gone,

The trust and love has all gone,

It’s all gone

And now there’s barely anything to feel,

Now that it’s gone.

Our hearts have all been ripped asunder,

Our hearts have all betrayed

And we can wallow in self pity,

Or pick ourselves up again,

Because I know that we’re strong,

I know that we resilient

And that we can get through this,

Because we shine a light so brilliant,

And now it’s all gone,

The trust and love has all gone,

It’s all gone

And now there’s barely anything to feel,

Now that it’s gone

But we have learnt to be strong

And we love again I know,

Because love never leaves our hearts,

It resides deep within us inside

And when think love is gone

We could not be more wrong

And we can find it again in someone,

Who deserves our trust,

And there’s a part of that knows this

And that it simply us a must.
