Injustices

We live in a world of injustice,

Where the justice you get

Is based on one you can afford,

Yet in other countries

They are not afforded that at all,

The force of law becomes

The law of force,

Where like in many other areas of life

This open to so much abuse.

It’s rarely ever that the rich die

At the hands of the police,

It’s more common to be the poor and downtrodden,

Those who are already on their knees.

Some say its because they commit

The most crimes, though petty in nature,

It’s the rich who are committing the biggest crimes,

Through taxes and finance even though they don’t meed it.

We live in a world of injustice,

Where the justice you get

Is based on one you can afford,

Yet in other countries

They are not afforded that at all.

  1. I have so much hope that justice will come for the downtrodden. “To the increase of his rulership And to peace, there will be no end, On the throne of David and on his kingdom In order to establish it firmly and to sustain it Through justice and righteousness, From now on and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this” (Isaiah 9:7), “…My chosen one, whom I have approved! I have put my spirit in him; He will bring justice to the nations” (Isaiah 42:1).

  4. Injustice is not new to the world. It is everywhere.

It’s a menace. God is our Judge.
