I don’t need riches,

I don’t need fame,

I just need things to go my way,

I don’t need pity,

I don’t need tears,

I just need the answers to become clear,

To how to shine my light

Resonate it so very bright,

So that I can get something out of this life

Like so many others around me,

Who seem to get it all, doing nothing at all,

I do not resent them this,

I am no envious or jealous of this

But is it to much to ask that I too get my bit

It’s not like i don’t work for it,

I do believe I deserve it

But then in life you don’t always get what you deserve,

Sometimes you just get what you are served.
