Less advantaged due to birth

Less human and not of worth,

This is how some are seen

By some through the TV screen,

About starving kids who’s parents are helpless,

To help them to survive this.

Their governments spend their money on guns,

To fight civil wars time and again.

Western governments know this,

Yet they are willing to sell them more

Even though their population is poor.

People just ignore their plight,

Deciding it is not their fight,

Seem to think it is their own fault,

That somehow they are victims of their own design,

As if they brought it on themselves to die.

Some people could care less for those seen of less worth,

Who feel the pain as well as the hurt

And their only fault was their disadvantage place of birth,

They don’t get what they deserve,

They live an unfair life that’s cursed.
