See the desperate and broken

And show them your light

She they feel the warmth

The love and devotion

That fills their dreams

And gives them reason for hoping.

Because in the depths of their depression

To those terrorised and frightened

Fleeing their homes that are now just rubble

Then because they’re foreign

They are just seen as trouble

Shine a light for them

And keep your heart open

Let them know that there is a reason for hoping.
