Oppression is a reoccurring theme

More just a simplistic theory ore meme

This is something real that’s happening

In every country east and west.

Governments exceeding their power

Forcing their people to cower

With archaic laws brought in to keep us down

A sea of legislation designed to make us drown.

Riding rough shod over our rights

Take no notice of what we believes not right

Exploiting and destroying environments

Though we say no!

That’s not the way the system now goes.

Governments are meant to represent the people

Be it’s mouthpiece, reflect how we feel

Instead they have become monsters

Raging out of control

Dictating everything from job to health to homes

Many have become nanny state zones.

We need to wrest some of that power back

But its difficult when a voice we lack

For they control the media through the oligarchs

Backed by corporation’s who hide in the dark.

But we have got our light and we have our light

We have a passion and we are ready for an intellectual fight

They may have the money and they may have the arms

But we have the truth and so they better be alarmed.
