I continue in my own way

To fight for peace and love each day,

Within this impermanent life

It’s important to do what’s right,

To cherish our earth and each other,

To show our compassion over and over,

To show how light can guide the way

And that in darkness there is nothing

Of which to be afraid.

I will continue in my way

To not surrender my life,

But to be be brave

Enough to live courageously,

To know there are lessons there for me,

To learn as I walk on my way

Down the path of my destiny.
