You want me compliant to your rules

You want me to surrender my life to you

And all I say to you is so what.

You want me to follow your blind faith

You want me to feel guilt and shame

For living life in my own unique way

And all I have to say is so what.

You want me to enlist and fight your wars

But do nothing unless it’s for a good cause

I don’t care if you say your appauld

All I have to say is so what.

You me to play in your political arena

You want to be greedy and meaner

You think I could be one of your believers

All I have to say is so what.

Because matter what you say to me

Nothing you say I will ever believe

You have no compassion or humanity

Whereas I am compelled by spiritual belief

And driven by a power of creativity

So when you ask me to abandon all my dreams

I say i will not and so what.
