A flicker of palpable light

In an otherwise dark place,

Is all that is needed to ignite

Hope in a blind persons sight,

It can create a dream of something more

A potentiality for colour to follow,

Anticipation of future sight,

The belief that the future can be bright,

That flicker is all that is needed

To necessitate, to elevate,

To invigorate and stimulate,

The possibilities which are unlimited,

In a mind of those who see no reason to hope.
