Power has to be challenged

Like everything else,

Put under pressure

For democracies health.

Those who rule need to be questioned,

Need to be examined

To see if their intentions are good,

To see if their actions

Are right for the people,

Or just egotistical

Gratification of self.

We need to know our society is fair,

Know that it is equal

And see that it cares,

For those who fall through the cracks

We have to ensure for all there is a way back,

So never just accept what they tell you,

Never let yourself be fooled,

Just because these people rule

It doesn’t mean you you have do

What they tell you too.
