Some people don’t like insects

They dont know what they do

The think a world without insects

Would be good so no sleep they lose

Over the declining populations

And the rise of pollution and pesticides

But would you fell the same way knowing

That if they die we die too.

They are a part of nature’s balance

And the ecological need

If we let insects perish

Then we must have suicidal tendencies

We seem not to understand how balance is crucial

To humanities plight

That living life in balance ensures the planet functions right

But man’s need for exploitation

And it’s insatiable lust for greed

Won’t allow for a balanced earth

Through balanced societies.
