It takes a little time

For us to see,

The precious life

We get to lead,

When we are young

We seem to think,

We are invincible

And will live forever,

But as time goes by

We realise,

That time is not on our side

And the we need

To live in each moment

And try not to waste it,

In pursuit of futile things

But creating amazing memories,

From which we live our dreams,

This is what conscious living means,

Living in love and being free.
