Betrayed

Cynically her betrayed her

And he broke her heart in two

But she was more than he imagined

Stronger than he understood

And the betrayal he inflicted

Only made her more than before

And her love grew mighty

And she was soon restored

Because he was not worthy of being her defeat no more.
