When meeting people you just see what’s external
You don’t see the spirit or their soul inside
You don’t know how they feel they just reflect what they
Think will appeal
Others to them a nice smile, good clothes sense
Fashionable look but this is all nonsense
It all covers up and hides
The real them lurking deep inside
And what you see on the outside is a facade and a lie
People need to learn to be authentic all of the while
Because they will discover the love
They will learn to get back in touch
With who they truly are and what they’re meant to be
So always reside within
And throw off the display you wear externally.
