Fear is a tool used to control

Fear is instilled in everything you know

Nothing to fear but fear itself

Fear those who give you reason to fear

For those people impose fear

To control how you live your life

They cause you to limit what risks you take

This limits the success you may have

Fear is their way of kidnapping your life

Holding hostage with their clever tricks

Its not paranoia when it actually exists

And they use this fear as a beating stick

To keep you subdued to keep you oppressed

Fear is used to dominate the rest of your thinking

And all of your feelings

Fear crawls into everything

Am I good enough?

Does she love me?

Is it safe to question anything?

Is it safe to go outside?

Is it safe to live my life?

Is anything safe to eat?

Is there anything safe to do?

The answer and the truth

Is not to let the fear control you

And not to let those who use it against you

The power to manipulate you

You have this power to choose

Don’t choose fear.
