A tear drop falling from on high
A sad moment that makes people cry
The despair that sees us hiding away a night
To shield our tears from view.
Tear stained cheeks that reveal our grief
The sense of futility and loss
The feeling of having had it all but now knowing it is lost.
Yet tears don’t flow forever
One day they will dry up
And we will find something new
To be happy about.
So hold faith and keep believing
It is the only way,
For every dark moment
There are bright ones too.
