Why does religion
Warn us of our judgement day
Why does it want us to live in fear
I don’t think that’s what a compassionate God wants
These are man made Ways of controlling.
They use religion as if it is a tool
There preach sermons simply to fool
They are complicit with those who rule
With those exploiting me and you
To take all they can
While giving nothing back
Except fear of damnation
For the faith they say you lack.
