I walk through alleys
And down long lonely roads,
Through towns and cities
In search of something that’s unknown,
Maybe I search for inner peace
Or maybe I search for solace and self love,
Or maybe just some sanctuary
Away from this suffering and misery
Created by a greedy humanity,
Or maybe I am in search of hope
Knowing that humanity can get back on the right road
And bring about a change and take us too the promised land,
Or maybe I am just trying too find my way home
Back too my family where I am not alone,
To the warm glow of togetherness
Where we can offer each other he tenderness,
Feeling the satisfaction of being blessed,
Where we can be as one,
Feeling the embrace,
Of the one unconditional love
That should be shared by the whole human race.
