I wish I could travel more

And see what the world has in store,

I would really like to have the means

To visit places that I’ve never been,

Sample the rich cultures of foreign lands

Meet the people share our thoughts,

I wish I had the means to travel

And see wonderful things.

I wish I could visit ancient sites and see the monuments,

Delve into the history and see how they lived back then,

See the people now and ask them how things are comparing,

I would like to travel more so experiences I could be sharing

But I don’t have the means so I just have too dream

And watch it on my TV screen

Which isn’t the same I am sure

But it’s I can do,

I can do no more,

I wish I had the means to travel

And maybe one that dream will come true.
