What sort of shock to the system
Will it take to wake you up,
To make you take notice
How we are messing this world up,
Then deny our relationship in climate change
Like your heads stuck in the mud
And deny man’s inhumanity
Though the rivers flow with blood,
Of all innocent people who are collateral damage in their games
They’re not worried about war or the environment each day,
All they they are interested in is profit and their nett gains,
These greedy corporate giants
Exploiting in the name of progress
But the truth it’s in the name of filling their own pockets,
While we just sit back as passive observers
Compliant in the name of being seen as patriotic,
As you swallow their bullshit rhetoric,
As the domesticated sheep we are to all of those who rule
Or use us as their corporate tools,
To be exploited and to be fooled
By the fake. Edit and the fake news,
By the biggest fakes in society who govern me and you.
