On the horizon I saw the sun as it rose,
From the clifftop over looking the sea,
It was amazing and so beautiful to me
And as I watched it rise and it’s light started dazzling me,
I wondered if the same could happen to our humanity,
Could we see it rise and shine above the horizon of life
And see humankind walk the path of love and light.
