In a busy life it’s hard to find
Some space to still and collect the mind
Hard to find a moment to meditate
And often we find an excuse to hesitate
But when we reflect and contemplate
About what was important in that day
We realise we had been led astray
That finding time for self is a must each day
Because in this life we get carried away
With what and how we think we should display
Ourselves to others out of validation
But on reflection causes consternation
That we got caught up in the frustration
Of thinking what others think truly matters
When self preservation of soul and mind
Is what we should ensure happens
So always make time for yourself each day
And don’t let excuses or others get in your way.
