Awakening for some happens instantly
But for some it’s a process happening gradually,
At times it is a lonely road
But you still know its the right direction to go,
You can lose friends along the way
Which can be a cause for some dismay
The purging of the selfish state
That focused on material gain
Living life the domesticated way
Never asking question
Just accepting what others say
And consequently being led astray
From the love, light, and the kind place
That being spiritual helps you find
Clears the clutter and stills the mind
And fills your life with contentment by design
That in the material world you could not find.
